Beta-Alanine
Beta-Alanine is an amino acid that has been clinically documented to increase endurance. In 2004, Dr. Suzuki discovered a strong relationship between carnosine concentrations in muscle and high intensity endurance training - the higher concentrations of carnosine you have in your muscle, the faster you can bike and run. Supplementation with beta-alanine has been shown to increase the concentration of carnosine in muscles, decrease fatigue in athletes and increase total muscular work done. After a 10 week supplementing strategy, the reported increase in intramuscular carnosine content was an average of 80.1% (range 18 to 205%).

Citrulline Malate
Citrulline Malate has been clinically documented to improve aerobic performance and capacity by influencing lactic acid metabolism and reducing fatigue. By reducing blood lactate levels, aerobic performance was dramatically increased. French researchers reported in several human studies that blood lactate concentrations were reduced and ammonia elimination was increased after physical exertion.

DBM Endurance CitraBeta Shot is a safe, legal, stimulant-free endurance supplement that abides by all athletic governing bodies, including WADA, USADA, UCI, IOC and USAT.

Understanding how our bodies respond to exercise is something that every athlete is fully aware of and seeks to overcome the limitations that exist. At DBM Endurance we are committed to providing you with the best science possible. We then formulate endurance products that have been field tested by endurance athletes, that are 100% legal in all competition classes and do provide genuine benefits that will enable you to training harder and race faster.

Many of our are looking for the right product to help push us to the next level or even just a little bit faster as at some levels of competition it's all about saving a few seconds here and there that make the difference between being the bride's maid instead of the champion. We strongly believe that it's a smart choice to use supplements that have proven benefits, that have the support of the professional triathletes, pro cyclists and pro runners that use and endorse the products.

We are focused on only producing products that truly offer significant benefit to the athlete and we stand behind our range of 5 products. Each product is the result of hundreds of hours of research and development and countless hours of testing in the field.

We believe that having a Certificate of Analysis (C of A) is highly important when you are adding supplements to your routine. What is a C of A? It's a document which states every active and inactive substance used to manufacture a product. We are very particular about what goes into our products and part or our commitment to quality is to ensure that we have C of A's for the key ingredients we use. In addition a C of A also shows there are no additional ingredients added to the DBM Endurance PRO formulation or DBM Endurance Original which gives you peace of mind knowing the high quality levels our products are manufactured in.

usage options - dosage methods
There are two different dosage methods to choose from:

Elite Level - take 4 capsules daily and see single digit increases in aerobic capacity and anaerobic threshold. One bottle of DBM Endurance CitraBeta Shot will last 30 days on this program.

Pro Level - take 4 capsules twice daily to see double digit gains in aerobic capacity and anaerobic threshold. One bottle of DBM Endurance CitraBeta Shot will last 15 days on this program.

Some athletes will feel a minor prickling after first taking CitraBeta Shot, which is called parathesia. It is caused by beta-alanine binding to nerve receptors, activating them and causing them to discharge. Many of these nerves are below the skin, giving a prickling sensation. This sensation begins approximately 10-20 minutes after ingesting beta-alanine and usually continues for 10-20 minutes.

The intensity varies depending on dosing, individual sensitivity and potentially from activators of Ca2+ channels, such as caffeine. This sensation decreases over a few weeks of continued use. Taking CitraBeta Shot with food may decrease the prickling effect from beta-alanine. The prickling sensation does not occur at all in some individuals.
professional triathlon training planprofessional triathlon training plan
To understand the commitment that it takes to be at the top of your game as a Pro take a look at the sample training weeks below. Professional Athletes have shared some of their training plans to help give you an idea of what being Pro involves.

These are a sample training plans based on the training plans of real Professional and could very easly be different from your training plan. Please use the plans as reference of how others are training and have a professional coach work with you to tailor your own plan and supplement usage.

*Please note that training weeks will change over time.
This sample does not include any core or strength work which is a standard part of triathlon training but remember every athlete is different. There will be different parts of a training plan that can include build phases, endurance extension phases, base building, loading and taper. This is a guide of a standard week that is designed to give you an idea of the amount of time that a pro athlete puts into their training. To enssure they get the best out of their training they use DBM Endurance supplements.
DBM Endurance CitraBeta Shot is an extremely advanced endurance supplement containing ingredients which are scientifically documented to rapidly increase VO2 max, reduce lactic acid and speed recovery. The following research documents the effectiveness of DBM Endurance Product Ingredients.

Citrulline Malate

A very unique amino acid has been proven to dramatically improve aerobic performance by reducing blood lactate levels. Supplementation of citrulline malate has lead to significant reductions of fatigue and increases in energy production. It is considered equally important in the detoxification of ammonium and lactate from the blood. The production and removal of urea is essential for the elimination of ammonia and toxic nitrogen metabolites. Ammonia is extremely toxic to all cells and excessive levels may even be fatal. Even in healthy athletes, the build up of ammonia can lead to extreme fatigue and more. It also reduces glycogen formation, and inhibits the energy cycle. Obviously this is what every athlete wants to avoid!

Nitric oxide is the cell-signaling molecule that has a part in regulating blood flow, oxygen delivery, glucose uptake, muscle firepower, and muscle growth. Obviously the ability to control these physiological effects can be of tremendous value to athletes. Many of Citrulline's functions stem primarily from its ability to increase plasma levels of Arginine endogenously (in the human body). And what is really so exciting about Citrulline is that it seems to increase plasma Arginine levels better than taking the amino acid Arginine itself. Ammonia also forms when bacteria in the intestinal tract breaks down protein. The point is that the more ammonia in your blood, the worse your athletic performance.

Citrulline Malate comes to the rescue once again by aiding in the elimination of amino acid byproducts of protein metabolism. Demonstrations also show Citrulline Malate as having a protective effect against acidosis and ammonia poisoning. It appears that it is synergistic when bonded to citrulline and this peptide may work better than supplementation of citrulline alone. While citrulline acts to increase NO and reduce performance inhibiting metabolic toxins, malate conditions the recycling of lactate and pyruvate, and takes part in the kreb cycle supplying instant and sustained energy.
